The University of Minnesota College of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences has named the 2025 Siehl Prize laureates, recognizing exceptional contributions to agriculture in production, agribusiness, and knowledge. This year’s recipients are Carmen Fernholz, an organic farming pioneer from Madison, Minnesota; brothers Michael and Geoffrey Graham, global leaders in plant breeding at Bayer Crop Science and Corteva Agriscience; and the late Donald Wyse, a longtime U of M professor known for advancing sustainable agriculture through crop diversification. Each laureate will receive a $25,000 award at a ceremony on May 28.
