Global Commodity Analytics President Mike Zuzolo says the trade war between the U.S. and China is far from over, with China unlikely to make currency concessions. “He’s (President Xi) not going to back down, he saw what happened to Japan in the 1980s,” Zuzolo said. “Japan had almost the identical property bubble that China does right now. China saw what happened to Japan after they bent and allowed their currency to appreciate. I don’t think they’re going to allow their currency to appreciate like we want them to. I’m hunkering down for the trade war with China.”
