The Minnesota House Environment and Natural Resources Committee has approved a $2.3 billion omnibus finance bill. It includes cuts to the DNR, Pollution Control Agency and the Board of Water and Soil Resources. Committee leadership called it a ‘bare bones’ budget that will meet the House deadline to approve finance bills. They also promised to continue to work on new provisions that will be in the final bill. It now goes to the House Ways and Means Committee.
