FCA Board Receives Report on Ag Conditions

In its quarterly report on the farm economy, the Farm Credit Administration said farmers face an uncertain trade environment and the spring planting season with a strong balance sheet and favorable liquidity. Farm income is being supported by American Relief Act payments to crop farmers earlier in the year and positive returns from the livestock sector. The report said farmland values are showing signs of weakness, particularly for lower-quality land.
