NDSU Extension agricultural finance specialist Bryon Parman says most of these AI’s come from overseas. “For instance, 58 percent of the 2,4-D sourced in 2022 came from China, that is quite a huge amount of a herbicide that we use a whole lot; Atrazine, 100 percent sourced from China; Dicamba, 55 percent sourced from China, 40 percent from India; Glyphosate, 98 percent coming from China in 2022.”
