Brand Bills Die in SD Legislature

Two bills dealing with the South Dakota Brand Board were rejected by the Senate Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee. One bill would have raised the maximum livestock inspection fee from $1 per head to $1.35. The other proposal would have moved the Brand Board from the ag department to the Office of School and Public Lands.
