ND Gelbvieh Association Spotlight

In the latest edition of the North Dakota Gelbvieh Association Spotlight, American Gelbvieh Association Executive Director Harold Bertz is our guest. There’s been a lot of focus on the maternal influence of the Gelbvieh breed, Bertz says there is also a story to be told about the feedlot and carcass characteristics. “Gelbvieh will keep those carcasses big and put some yield grade in them,” said Bertz. “No breed does everything, but I think Gelbvieh gets as close as any of them.” Click here and listen to the report.
