Report Released on Foreign Farmland Ownership

Nearly 46 million acres of U.S. farmland are owned by foreign entities. Canadian owners represent the largest portion of that. USDA also cites the land owned by the combination of China, Iran, North Korea and Russia and it represents less than one percent of total foreign-held acreage.
