The Farmers Union organizations in North Dakota, South Dakota, and Oklahoma hosted the annual Tri-State Young Producers Conference in Fargo Friday and Saturday. “This is the third year for the event that we’ve put together for our young farmers between 25 and 40 years of age that we encourage to get involved in the organization,” explained Scott Blubaugh, president, Oklahoma Farmers Union. “They find out how much in common they have (and) how similar our farming operations really are even here in the Dakotas and as far south as Oklahoma. The challenges that we all face on family farms are very similar.”
