With a new Congress in place, lawmakers will have another chance to pass a farm bill. National Union Farmers Union Vice President Jeff Kippley, who farms near Aberdeen, is anxious to see some action. “We were very disappointed that we haven’t had one done here in the last two years,” Kippley told RRFN. “Two one-year extensions is not what the farmers need especially as we see the commodity prices drop. We’ve wasted our time long enough. We need to get something finished.”
