Eptam and Sonalan are two of the Gowan USA products showcased at the Potato Expo trade show. “Eptam and Sonalan have both been around for 30 years or so, but we’re always looking for new ways to use it,” said Kayley Jacobson, sales representative. “We’ve always done a lot of research with it and never stopped doing research with it; it’s really neat to see the different fits (for the product) come in.” The Gowan Company, which is a family-owned global company, acquired these chemistries from Dow Agrosciences ten years ago. In this interview with RRFN, Jacobson explains how these products are used in the potato market.
