North Dakota State University’s College of Agriculture, Food Systems and Natural Resources has a new associate dean. Carrie Hammer has been with NDSU for 20 years and served most recently as the interim associate dean. Hammer has also been part of the animal sciences department with a focus on equine. Before moving to Fargo in 2005, Hammer was a veterinarian with the Center for Food Security and Public Health in Ames, Iowa.
