The Minnesota Department of Agriculture has launched the Green Fertilizer Grant Program. Agriculture Commissioner Thom Petersen made the announcement at the Green Ammonia Summit in Morris. The grant will support agriculture and rural electric cooperatives so they can invest in green fertilizer manufacturing. The funding will range from $250,000 to $6.6 million for shovel-ready projects. Applications are due March 18.
