USDA Lowers Corn, Soybean Production Estimates

In Friday’s report, USDA forecast corn production at 15.1 billion bushels. That’s down one percent from the previous estimate. Yields are expected to average a record 183.1 bushels per acre. Soybean production is forecast at 4.46 billion bushels, down three percent from the last report. Yields are projected to average 51.7 bushels per acre.
