Ryan Wanzek, who farms near Cleveland, North Dakota, hopes to finish his corn within the next two weeks. “We haven’t had any harvest breaks, so everybody’s getting pretty tired.” Wanzek is happy with the corn yields but not the soybeans. “All the corn yields have been good. It’s creating a lot slower harvest pace, but that’s a good problem to have,” said Wanzek. “I think most people are a little bit disappointed with the bean yields. We thought we had a record out there and it just wasn’t there; we ran out of sunlight.”
