In Horace, North Dakota, Ryan Richard says the windy conditions are welcomed to help dry the corn enough to harvest. “We’re just kind of slowly going as we get fields that are coming around.” Some later-planted fields will need more time before they’re ready for the combine. “We pretty much have a hodgepodge of everything, good and bad.”
