We’re past the halfway point in September and it still feels like summer. Pioneer Field Agronomist Eric Lagge said Mother Nature is trying to make up for the late start to the growing season. In the Pioneer Agronomy Update, Lagge said “the late planted corn will still need time to reach maturity.” With the heat and wind, soybeans have started to turn and harvest is looming.
