There were no major surprises in Thursday’s USDA report. “This report came in pretty close to the trade estimates,” said DuWayne Bosse, president, BOLT Marketing. “When I looked at the state-by-state estimates, they did lower Ohio and in some of the Delta which have been very dry in the last month.” Ultimately, the story is in Iowa and Illinois. “As much as we want to move in the averages, it’s those two states and they’ve got record crops.” Bosse joined Ray Grabanski of Progressive Ag Marketing and Tyler Schau of AgMarket.Net in Thursday’s RRFN Market Outlook Forum.
