The 2024 planting season had a staggered start. “It seems like the earlier the corn or soybeans got planted the nicer the crop that we’re going to have, the later the planting might be a little bit more iffy come to harvest,” said Karmen Hardy, agronomist, Proseed. Hardy, who is based in Walhalla, North Dakota, said some areas got too much rain this season. “But, overall, I think we have exceptional yields in the crops to come.”
