China has formally started its one-year investigation into Canadian canola imports. China claims Canada is dumping canola onto the world market, sending the issue to the World Trade Organization. China took action after Canada imposed a 100 percent tariff on Chinese-made electric vehicles and a 25 percent increase in steel and aluminum.
