Applications are being accepted until October 23 for two grant opportunities available through the Minnesota Department of Agriculture. These grants are geared toward value-added businesses and livestock processors for start-up, modernization and expansion costs. The goal is to increase ag product sales. Priority projects include food safety, hemp fiber processing, kosher and halal markets and meat or poultry processing.
