For the second quarter, Titan Machinery suffered a net loss of $4.3 million. That’s compared to net income of 31.3 million one year ago. A downturn in farm income is behind the soft demand for farm equipment. Titan Machinery officials said a more aggressive strategy is in place to address sales and inventory control. Titan Machinery is based in West Fargo.
