The work stoppage affecting the Canadian National and Canadian Pacific Kansas City railroads has ended. The Canadian government ordered the railroad and the Teamsters Union into binding arbitration. Labor Secretary Steve McKinnon said rail traffic should resume within a matter of days. Seventy-five percent of the products exported from Canada to the United States moves by rail. For agriculture, that includes grain, oilseeds and fertilizer shipments.
