Louis Dreyfus Company has established a new business unit that will focus on the merchandising of pulse crops. The initial focus is on yellow peas, chickpeas, red lentils, faba beans and pigeon peas. Louis Dreyfus Company plans to capitalize on its origination capabilities in Australia and Canada.
