National Corn Growers Association President Harold Wolle is extremely disappointed in the price of corn. “We need policies that improve the market for our corn crop,” said Wolle. “We need more trade and we need to increase the amount of ethanol in our fuel; those are two ways where policy will make a difference.” Wolle farms at Madelia, Minnesota and welcomed the addition of Governor Tim Walz to the presidential ticket. “Governor Walz was my congressman and he’s been out to my farm and he does have an understanding of agriculture and I think that is important to have someone running for that position who has that understanding of agriculture.”
