While the farm bill was the main talking point at Corn Congress in Washington, North Dakota Corn Growers Association Vice President Brian Leier says year-round E15 sales were also discussed. “Ethanol has been a big push for the (National) Corn Growers Association. E-15 would grind close to 2.5 billion bushels of corn each year going from E10 to E15.” Productive talks also took place with Canadian Embassy officials. “We have some concern over the possible Canadian rail strike and what that would do for the movement of goods and services both in Canada and the U.S.”
