A Lot of Potential

The prospects are good for the crops across the region. “There’s a lot of potential whether you’re talking hay, grass, corn or soybeans and there’s a lot of variation in those,” said Neal Fisher, executive director, North Dakota Wheat Commission. “It seems to me the corn looks as magnificent as it ever has on a statewide basis.” Fisher said the wheat crop is also doing well, but “we’ve got two-to-four to sometimes five weeks before we’re going to harvest it so a lot can happen yet.”
