The soybean aphid population is slowly growing in southeastern North Dakota. The NDSU Crop and Pest Report also cites an issue north of the Grand Forks area. Late-planted soybeans could be at increased risk from soybean aphids. Scouting is recommended with an economic threshold of 250 or more aphids per plant from the R1-to- R5 stage of production.
