The wheat harvest in Colorado is advancing rapidly. Colorado Wheat Director of Communications and Policy Madison Andersen says the hot weather has helped out. “Last weekend, there were about four days where we were at or above 100 degrees as a high.” Harvest is around 90 percent complete in the state. Andersen describes the crop as “average.”
