Oklahoma is the 13th state to confirm the presence of H5N1 avian influenza in dairy cattle. This dairy farm collected a positive sample in April, but USDA did not receive it until early July. The herd if fully recovered. H5N1 has now been confirmed in more than 150 dairy herds nationwide.
