The EPA is ramping up its protections for people exposed to herbicide drift. Historically, the agency only conducted a chemical-specific assessment of the potential impact on people during the registration review process, which happens every 15 years after a product is approved. Starting now, the EPA will complete that analysis during the initial registration process or the review process for new and amended uses of existing products.
