A Restructuring for AGCO

With large inventories of farm equipment, AGCO has announced a restructuring of its business. In the initial phase, AGCO plans to cut its salaried workforce by six percent. The company is also shifting some of its production from its Hesston, Kansas plant to a facility in Mexico. Layoffs are not expected, but workforce efficiency will come through normal attrition.
