World Weather Incorporated Senior Ag Meteorologist Drew Lerner expects to see drought expand during July throughout the U.S. βIn the north-central section, it looks like we will be left out of a lot of the drying that occurs later this month. The rest of the country certainly must be closely monitored for any signs of increasing crop stress that might threaten some of the production down the road.β For the Dakotas and Minnesota, the moisture will continue. “It’s not going to rain as often or as much but we will still have events coming and going briefly.β
