The Red River Valley Fair has wrapped up its first weekend. The fair in West Fargo will resume this weekend and again the weekend of July 11-14. According to RRVF CEO Cody Cashman, $1.2 million has been invested in renovating the Ag Education Center. It includes new immersive reality technology. “It’s the only one in the United States,” said Cashman. “Essentially, kids are able to go into this room and it’s a virtual tour of NDSU’s Swine Lab, the ethanol plant, the soybean crushing plant, things of that nature.” Thanks to funding from the North Dakota Corn Council, visitors are walking on a corn-epoxied floor in the Ag Education Center.
