In Friday’s Acreage Report, USDA delivered more corn acres than expected. Going into the report, the high end of the trade estimate for corn acres was 91.3 million acres. USDA topped that with a total of 91.47 million acres. Soybean acreage totaled 86.1 million acres, below the average trade guess of 86.75 million. The all-wheat acreage was estimated at 47.2 million acres, down five percent from a year ago. Spring wheat acreage totals 10.6 million.
