Heavy rains over the past month have washed away much of the hard work done by Cleveland, North Dakota farmer Ryan Wanzek. “We finished up planting and then got a wind event and a major rain event; we ended up replanting 700 acres of soybeans and right around 350 acres of pintos.” Wanzek continues to feel positive about the crop. “Overall, I’m happy with the way our crops work given the conditions that we’ve been dealt. It sounds like we aren’t the worst off as far as flooding goes.”
