Heavy rains dumped on Patrick O’Leary’s farm near Benson, Minnesota this past week. O’Leary said nutrient deficiencies will likely be the story going forward. “The soybean crop that is standing underwater seems to be holding its own. The corn is more challenged. We are starting to see nitrogen deficiencies and with the excess rain, it looks like nutrients might be an issue going forward.”
