The Minnesota legislative session is in the rearview mirror. Minnesota Farm Bureau President Dan Glessing is happy with the results, praising the strong communication between both parties as a key to the successful negotiations. “They were willing to hear what we had to say and to have a conversation,” said Glessing. “At the end of the day, that’s what we need to do, have more conversations.” Glessing points to the passing of the agriculture and environment bills, and Agricultural Growth, Research and Innovation (AGRI) funding as key successes from the 2024 sessions.
