According to NDSU Plant Pathologist Andrew Friskop, Pythium root rot may be a problem due to the cool and wet conditions early in the season. Rust diseases have been indicated earlier than normal in northern Kansas which could travel north. The level of Bacterial Leaf Streak will depend on the amount of rain in June.
