During the first public hearing on the Summit Carbon Solutions pipeline, Pickering Energy Partners founder Daniel Pickering spoke about the benefits the pipeline could bring to North Dakota. “The expectation is there will be 1500 to 2000 jobs created during that pipeline construction process. The estimates associated with that spending and follow-on economic impact range from $1.1 billion to $ 1.3 billion.” Summit has indicated 30 to 50 full-time jobs will be created to maintain the pipeline with an estimated economic impact of over $50 million.
