Minnesota Senate Agriculture Committee Vice Chair Rob Kupec of Moorhead supports a proposal to address the rural veterinarian shortage. The bill would provide an opportunity for veterinary technicians to be licensed taking the pressure off of veterinarians. “The language is included in the Health and Human Services omnibus bill that has not yet reached the Senate floor.” The language is in the House bill “so I’m pretty optimistic.”
