Soil moisture levels got a boost from the last blast of winter weather. Syngenta Crop Protection Agronomy Service Representative Aaron Kromann believes it also pushed back the planting season. “I’d expect planting conditions and timing to be about average,” said Kromann. “I don’t foresee it to be pushed too soon. Our decent weather in February had more people thinking about going earlier, but I think with this last bit of moisture, I’d expect things to be more normalized.” Regarding weed management, Kromann said it is important to know your enemy.
