Dana Allen-Tully’s journey includes a doctorate in ruminant nutrition to time as a legislative assistant on Capitol Hill; from a 2,000 dairy herd to the presidency of the Minnesota Corn Growers Association. Allen-Tully, who farms at Eyota, Minnesota, was asked to offer her advice for the next generation. “Whether it’s a young woman or a young man who’s interested in coming into the business, be relevant. Everybody wants to be around successful people and if you focus on being successful in whatever it is that you’re passionate about, you will be. Believe in yourself, believe in what it is that you’re fighting for.” The interview with Dana Allen-Tully can be found on RRFN’s YouTube channel.
