The role of the delegate at the National Farmers Union Convention is to provide representation and give a voice to producers from all over the country. “Our responsibility here is to go over the policy of the national organization and to try to implement as much of our member wants and needs for North Dakota,” explained Lenci Sickler, a delegate representing the North Dakota Farmers Union. “We’re focused on revamping the farm programs that are active right now and making changes that better fit farmers in North Dakota.”
