Researchers at University of Minnesota’s AI-CLIMATE are using artificial intelligence to predict carbon cycles in agricultural ecosystems. “AI can take all of this data and make better use of it faster, more accurately and cheaper,” said AI-Climate co-founder Zhenong Jin. By using AI and a statistical analysis approach, Jin believes this study can help quantify carbon levels and be a critical first step toward standardizing carbon intensity scores.
