Commodity Classic attendance topped 11,000, breaking the previous record set last year in Orlando. Houston hosted the annual meeting of the American Soybean Association, National Corn Growers Association, National Association of Wheat Growers, National Sorghum Producers and the Association of Equipment Manufacturers for the first time. In addition to the grower meetings, Commodity Classic brings together thought leaders from throughout agriculture. The Houston event also featured a trade show filling two floors of the massive convention center. RRFN’s Commodity Classic coverage is sponsored by the Minnesota Soybean Growers Association, Minnesota Soybean Research and Promotion Council, Truterra and AgCountry Farm Credit Services. In this edition of FarmNetNews, you’ll also find the first in our series of Agricult-HER interviews. Throughout March, look for this celebration of women in agriculture.
