A trade delegation from the National Association of State Departments of Agriculture traveled to Cuba this past week. There were seven state ag leaders on the trip, including Minnesota Agriculture Commissioner Thom Petersen. This delegation met with government officials and private industry representatives to discuss opportunities for collaboration between the U.S. and Cuba.
