More than 130 members of the U.S. House and Senate are asking the Biden Administration to withdraw its proposed rule that would require 67 percent of new lightweight vehicles and 46 percent of medium-duty vehicles to be electric by 2032. The bipartisan group of lawmakers said the proposal restricts consumer choice and is expensive.
