Farmland prices continue to climb. AcrePro Managing Broker David Gorder says the trend is still upward. “Demand is still strong for good quality land, even marginal land has still been selling pretty strong,” said Gorder. “I think a few good years stacked up has kept farmers controlling that market; investor activity has definitely slowed down.” Gorder said farm rental rate renewals are generally up ten-to-15 percent from last year.
