The sustainability trend is impacting the food and farm market. “That means producers have a decision to make,” said North Dakota Farmers Union Government Relations Director Matt Perdue. “They have to decide if they are going to participate in something or not.” NDFU hosted its Evolution Ag Summit Tuesday to consider the opportunities and challenges in the move to a carbon economy. Renewable diesel and sustainable aviation fuel are receiving much of the attention, but Perdue said there are opportunities for all kinds of producers.
